After having various dating experiences of my own, I’ve tried really hard to keep my romance writing clean and wholesome for all ages. Some might say my romance buildup is frustrating, slow, and not detailed enough. But I’d rather be known for having romance reads that someone could read in front of their mother. Life has enough of the other type of romance. The world needs books that are wholesome, safe for any age, and still gives the feels without the cringes.

When my Cowboy series came to me, I knew I wanted to include faith in this sweet cowboy romance series. I didn’t want to mix my readerships, so I decided to write these new stories under a penname. You can find them under the tab, June B Anderson.

I never thought I would enjoy writing children’s novels, but after teaching fourth and fifth grade, I found books very lacking for this targeted age. If the characters had to go through hard stuff, the writing was usually not appropriate for middle grade readers. So, I decided I wanted to write MG books that went through serious situations without losing the integrity of the age group that was targeted.
